Role Responsibilities:

• Hands-on plant cultivation work from sowing/planting through experiment teardown
• Day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of field and greenhouse trials
• Collection of measurements, data documentation, and basic data analysis
• Operation of irrigation and fertilization systems
• Execution of experiments according to defined protocols and trial plans
• Routine maintenance of greenhouse and field experiments

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Agriculture / Plant Sciences – a significant advantage, or proven experience in a similar role
• Proven hands-on experience in plant cultivation (irrigation, fertilization, spraying, measurements, and documentation) – required
• Experience working according to experimental protocols and trial plans – required
• Familiarity with computerized irrigation systems – required
• Knowledge of fertilizers – an advantage
• Good computer skills and strong documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently in the field and greenhouse; the role does not include team management

Additional Information:

• Full-time position
• Ability to independently commute to the Mazor area is required

Responsibilities:

• Support R&D trials- planning, executing, documenting and analyzing results, in lab and field.
• Lab operation: equipment, preparation of growth media and solutions, bacterial isolation, identification and count.
• Develop and perform various biochemical tests.
• Read and review scientific literature.
• Support all tasks required.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• OR bachelor’s degree with at least one year of relevant industry experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a microbiology lab – an advantage.
• Willingness to work both in the laboratory and in the field.
• Experience operating lab equipment and lab work and Strong technical skills.
• Experience working in sterile conditions

• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and general tech aptitude.
• Professionalism, accuracy, high organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability and desire to learn quickly.
• High level of English.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Ability to commute independently to Mazor.
